Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane made a great impression in his directorial debut with Ted, unsurprisingly after the success of the hit comedy he was quick to announce a sequel and tried his hand with a western comedy giving us A Million Ways to Die in the West. Unfortunately for McFarlane, the momentum that Ted had built up didn't seem to help A Million Ways to Die in the West since the film didn't do well at the box office and got some negative reviews, so now he must find build that momentum again with Ted 2.
A couple of weeks ago was when we learned that Morgan Freeman joined the cast of the film as the lawyer of the inappropriate teddy bear, and now Seth McFarlane has announced via Twitter that Liam Neeson will also have a role in the film. No word on specifics about the role that Neeson would play but popular belief is that, given the busy schedule he has, he would get a small part like a cameo, also with the film being reported to have cameos from several A-listers and pop culture figures it would make sense.

Ted 2 is currently filming and will star Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried, plus most of the original supporting cast and Seth McFarlane directing and writing, the film will hit theaters June 26th, 2015.
