'The Babadook' Trailer

IFC Films has released the trailer for the horror film The Babadook and it is creepy and unsettling. The film follows a mother (Essie Davis) and her young son (Noah Wiseman), who are dealing with the passing of the father/husband. When the son begins obsessing about a book and something called The Babadook is when things start getting out of control and scary things start to happen to this family of two.

This film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, leaving the audience horrified (in a good way) and talking about just how good this horror film is. This trailer serves its purpose well in my opinion, gives introduction to the story and those involved, gives you a taste of the scares without giving too much away so you can still be scared in the theater, and most importantly leaves you curious about what this creature is. I, like all the regular people who don't go to film festivals, have not seen the film yet so like everyone else will have to wait until the film opens in theaters on November 28th. Check out the trailer below.
