Gary Oldman, Kate Mara and Shia LaBeouf starring in 'Man Down'

According to an exclusive from Variety actors Gary Oldman, Kate Mara and Shia LaBeouf will star in the psychological thriller Man Down. The film tells the story of an Afghanistan war veteran who is haunted by his past while in the search for his family in an post-apocalyptic America, the film will be directed by Dito Montiel and the screenplay written by Adam Simon with Dawn Krantz, Stephen McEveety and Jon Burton attached to produce. No announcement yet on a released date but the film will start shooting October 30th in New Orleans.

The short plot of the film catches my interest a bit and the actors attached to star in the film might point out that the script and the production as a whole could be good, so any further opinions will have to come when other material from the film comes out and we get a trailer.
