'Ted 2' adds Morgan Freeman to the cast

The sequel to Seth McFarlane's hit comedy about the loud-mouth teddy bear is currently filming in Boston with Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, plus most of the original supporting cast and Mila Kunis who is thought to have a small role in the film. Seth McFarlane is naturally back writing, directing and voicing the talking bear in Ted 2 that is set to be released on June 26th, 2015.

According to Variety the film has now added Morgan Freeman to the cast, with sources saying he would play a civil rights lawyer who will help Ted with some legal issues. It was said that McFarlane was looking for a high-profile actor to play a fun role in the film and had already thought of Freeman, the film is also reported to have cameos from several A-listers and pop culture figures but no plot details have been revealed so far.

I really like this casting news, I don't know what it is but I can't help but be excited when high-caliber actor sign up for funny or silly roles in good comedies and I can't wait to see them. Being used to seeing Morgan Freeman in more serious roles and with that iconic voice I am looking forward to seeing him have conversation with a cursing teddy bear.
