Sam Mendes has found his cinematographer for
Bond 24 in
Hoyte Van Hoytema, he will be stepping in for
Roger Deakins after the
Skyfall cinematographer quit the franchise following the 2012 film. Hoytema has some big shoes to fill but given his track record we shouldn't be worried, he has already stepped in and delivered in
Spikes Jonez's
Her and
Christopher Nolan's
Interstellar when the usual cinematographers for each director weren't available.
HitFix reported the addition of the talented cinematographer who is a star on the rise in his field, and after how his latest films look I am really looking forward to see what he can do with Bond.
Bond 24 will begin
shooting in December for an October 23rd, 2015 release date in the U.K. and a November 6th, 2015 release date in the U.S., the film will star
Daniel Craig,
Ralph Fiennes,
Naomie Harris,
Ben Whishaw and
Rory Kinnear.
