Following the success of Skyfall we are all very much anticipating the next film in the James Bond series which will be the 24th installment in the franchise. Previous reports revealed that the film was set for an October 23rd, 2015 release date in the U.K. and a November 6th, 2015 release date in the U.S., but now the latest is that Bond 24 is set to begin filming on December 6th.
Bond fan-site MI6 (via Variety) was the first to report the news, adding that locations will include Austria, Rome and possibly Morocco with Pinewood Studios in England as HQ for studio filming. This film will be the fourth time we see Daniel Craig as 007 and will also include the return of Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. Sam Mendes is back on the director chair with a script by John Logan and rewritten by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, trio who also worked together on Skyfall.
