While announcing the long-awaited arrival of Deadpool, 20th Century Fox has also decided to announce some shifts to the calendar on a couple of their films, specifically Fantastic 4 and Assassin's Creed. The Fantastic 4 reboot directed by Josh Trank and starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell was initially set to be released on June 16th, 2015, while Assassins Creed starring Michael Fassbender was set to be released on August 7th, 2015, but that no longer is the case.THR reports that the announcement from Fox removes Assassin's Creed from its initially intended released date but instead of giving it a new one leaves the release date of the film to be announced, though insiders on the project say it would be released in 2016. Fantastic 4 is reported to be moving a couple of months and taking the August 7th, 2015 spot that was left vacant, which is said to be following the example that Guardians of The Galaxy set that August can be a profitable month to release and is much less crowded. Worries come from the shift in Assassin's Creed, the script has gone through rewrites, production has had scheduling issues and the movie was said would not be finished in time, hopefully these problems end up just as setbacks and will not harm the film in the long run.
