DC Comics URL Registrations Hint at Possible Future Movie Projects

In the war of superhero movies we all know Marvel has had one big of a head start and leads the race, leaving DC working hard in an attempt to catch up. Marvel has given us plenty of great films with others already lined up while DC gave us a mixed reviewed Man of Steel with Batman v. Superman on the way. Recently DC revealed a list of nine release dates for upcoming films but the dates were all for untitled projects, which left everyone wondering what characters DC was going to introduce in their cinematic universe.

It looks like we might know what films to expect from DC since Tech Times (via Comic Book Resources) has discovered that WB registered the following URLs for possible films:
  • JusticeLeagueFilm.com
  • ShazamMovie.com
  • WonderWomanTheMovie.com
  • AquamanMovie.com
The information checks out since using the URLs will redirect you to the Warner Brothers homepage. The lineup has not been officially confirmed but if it is it would make complete sense. Justice League is already set to begin filming right after Batman v. Superman and we already have our Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg, with the possibility of other characters being introduced. Dwayne Johnson has been talking about a Shazam movie for a while now with the confirmation whether he will be playing Shazam of Black Adam still to be made. The Wonder Woman movie is where I'm hesitant, we all want a Wonder Woman film made but it is still to be seen how Gal Gadot will perform and I have my doubts if she can even carry an entire movie, but I stand to be convinced. Jason Momoa is said to be our Aquaman and it has been reported that scripts have already been commissioned for an Aquaman film.

We will have to patiently wait for any official announcement by DC or WB on any of these films, they need to give us something palpable to look forward to so I am hoping that they announce these films along with release dates and possibly casting or directing choices.
