'Paranormal Activity 5' Gets New Release Date and Official Title

After a lot of shifting in dates Paramount looks to have finally settled on a date and a title for Paranormal Activity 5, the fifth installment of the franchise has seen a lot of date movement, going from October 2013 to October 2014 and now this apparently definitive date. After going through a spinoff in Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones we are going back to the main story with the title Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension that has locked a March 13th, 2015 release date, Gregory Plotkin will direct for the first time after having produced the last three films of the franchise.

The last film which was the spinoff did not do very well but these movies have proven to be money makers for the studio, so there should be no surprise that they are planning on continuing with the series. I have watched all of the movies including the spinoff, they had me hooked with the first one but after the second and third I lost all interest and have yet to regain it, they progressively started to loose the novelty and simpleness that the first film brought and turned into the same movie in a different house. I really like scary movies and feel annoyed when they turn into something cheap and by that I mean poor quality, so I hope with The Ghost Dimension they can add to the story and quality not just applying the same things they have repeatedly done but in another dimension.
