'Suicide Squad' Eyeing Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, and Tom Hardy

Fans are still fuzzing about the announcement from Warner Bros. about their upcoming DC superhero films, now we know that these films are coming but some of the characters are still without being cast, as is the case for the supervillain team up film Suicide Squad. We haven't had time to completely speculate on what characters might make up the team but the names being eyed by Warner Bros. for the starring roles are Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Tom Hardy.

THR, in a report about Gosling joining a big franchise, reported on the A-listers being targeted by Warner Bros. to make up the supervillain team. David Ayer's Suicide Squad is still in early stages of development and according to the report at this point only offers have been made to the actors, so it isn't definitive that they will accept the roles. If it ends up being the case that Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Tom Hardy are cast I would be fine with it, at this point I can only comment on the actors themselves because we don't know the official super villain lineup, so just on talent I would agree with these choices. Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
