Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' Confirms Director in Clip


Pixar hasn't had the smoothest of rides when it comes to their film The Good Dinosaur, the animated film was originally going to be directed by Bob Peterson, but he was pulled off from the film. This setback caused the film to be moved from its initial released date of May 30th, 2014 to November 25th, 2015, but with the shift of date came no announcement of a new director. Now, Pixar has confirmed Peter Sohn as the official new director for The Good Dinosaur.

The official confirmation came via Twitter, where Pixar posted a short clip revealing Peter Sohn as the new director. The Good Dinosaur stars John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, and Lucas Neff, hitting theaters on November 25th, 2015.

I believe Pixar is on the way to getting back to putting out some amazing films and the quality of their golden era, next year's The Good Dinosaur and Inside Out are looking to be what puts Pixar back on the top of animation. I'm excited that they are releasing new and original material and can't wait to see what they give us next.
