'In the Heart of the Sea' Teaser Trailer and Images

Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer and images for Ron Howard's In the Heart of the Sea. Based on the novel of the same name by Nathaniel Philbrick, it follows a whaling ship called Essex that was struck by a giant whale, leaving the crew drifting and fighting to survive storms, starvation, and desperation. This true story inspired Herman Melville's Moby-Dick.

I liked this first teaser trailer, it was a good small introduction to the story and characters. Visually it was really pretty, specially the destruction scenes, and I liked how you only see glimpses of the whale, giving you that sense of mystery and fear as to what is causing all the destruction. I like survival films and this trailer got me interested in this one. Directed by Ron Howard, In the Heart of the Sea stars Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Tom Holland, Brendon Gleeson, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw, and Jordi Molla, opening in theaters on March 13, 2015.
