First Images of Bradley Cooper in 'American Sniper'

We got our first look at Bradley Cooper in his upcoming film American Sniper, the first images from the Clint Eastwood war drama were released. The film is based on an autobiography of the same name, that centers on late U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who after four tours in Iraq became the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history.

USA Today gave the first look at Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, role that he gained almost forty pounds for. Cooper, who had the opportunity to talk to Kyle before his death, is also producing the film calling it a "character study" and more than just a war film. American Sniper also stars Sienna Miller, Jake McDorman, Luke Grimes, Navid Negahban, and Keir O’Donnel, it opens on select theaters on December 25th and for a wider audience on January 16th.
