First 'American Sniper' Trailer

Yesterday we got the first images, and today we get the first trailer for American Sniper, the Clint Eastwood directed war drama starring Bradley Cooper. Based on the autobiography of the same name, the film center on U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who after four tours in Iraq became known as the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history.

This trailer is very powerful, it is able to portray the essence of the main character from his military and personal life. I was impressed at how much insight you can get out of the trailer with only those short clips, and still not much from the story was revealed. Check out the trailer and poster below, American Sniper also stars Sienna Miller, Jake McDorman, Luke Grimes, Navid Negahban, and Keir O’Donnel, it opens on select theaters on December 25th and for a wider audience on January 16th.
