First Look at Jhonny Depp as The Wolf in 'Into the Woods'

Out of the main characters we were given a look at in the Into the Woods trailer and other reveals, Jhonny Depp as The Wolf is the one we were still waiting to see. Now we finally get the first look at the character, who is included in one of the four magazine covers that also feature the other main characters.

Entertainment Weekly shared the exclusive covers which show us the main cast of characters and gives us the first look at Depp in full costume. Director Rob Marshall had a couple of comments about the film:
"I didn't want this to look like a cartoon world.  It's not sunny, sunny, sunny — we wanted a sense of danger. I've been offered many witches over the years, starting when I was 40, and I said no to all of them.  But this was really fun because it played with the notion of what witches mean.  They represented age and ugliness and scary powers we don't understand.  So here's my opportunity to say, here's what you wish for when you're getting old."
I have said that I am not looking forward to this film, and I am still not, probably less from seeing Depp in costume. The director said that he didn't want this to look like a cartoon, but to me The Wolf and the rest of the cast look exactly like cartoon characters, specially The Wolf. Into the Woods stars  Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Meryl Streep, Jhonny Depp, Lilla Crawford, Mackenzie Mauzy, Daniel Huttlestone, Tracey Ullman and Christine Baranski, hitting theaters on December 25th. Check out the covers below.
