The list for the 10 DC superhero films and small details about them is as follows:
- Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
- Suicide Squad directed by David Ayer (2016)
- Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot (2017)
- Justice League Part 1 directed by Zack Snyder, starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams (2017)
- The Flash starring Ezra Miller (2018)
- Aquaman satrring Jason Momoa (2018)
- Shazam with Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam (2019)
- Justice League Part 2 directed by Zack Snyder (2019)
- Cyborg starring Ray Fisher (2020)
- Green Lantern (2020)
This is a lot of information to take in at once, and it is just mind-blowing to say the least, there is so much to talk about and so many things that stand out, it's hard to decide where to even begin to comment. Lets break it down by year and go from there, and let me just say how incredible it is to know that starting in 2016 until 2020 we will be getting two DC films per year, just let that sink in for a moment.

The following year, in 2017, Wonder Woman and Justice League Part 1 will hit theaters. With these reveals we know that Gal Gadot will get her own standalone film as Wonder Woman, taking the slot in June 23rd, 2017, and Justice League Part 1 will see the return of Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, directed by Zazk Snyder and released on November 17th, 2017.
2018, will see the appearances of The Flash and Aquaman on the big screen. This answers the question if we would get a Flash adaptation on the big screen and it places Ezra Miller as the lead, hitting theaters on March 23rd, 2018. The Aquaman film confirms the long standing rumor that Jason Momoa will play the character, set to be released on July 27th, 2018.
Moving on to 2019, we will see Shazam and Justice League Part 2. We got confirmation that Dwayne Johnson would be playing Black Adam in the Shazam film, now that the film is set to hit theaters on April 9th, 2019, the question is who will play the title character and go toe to toe with Black Adam. Justice League Part 2 will also be directed by Zack Snyder and poses the question what the superhero team will face that needs splitting in two films, we will find out on June 14th, 2019.
And finally 2020, when Cyborg gets his chance at his own film and Green Lantern gets a second chance. The casting of Ray Fisher as Cyborg was known a while back, but as solo film does take me by surprise, we will get to see that on April 3rd, 2020. After the disappointment of the previous film, Green Lantern will get a reboot and try to succeed again on June 19th, 2020.
All the information is overwhelming, and I'm sure there is plenty to continue to talk about it for days and days. For those worried about not seeing Batman and Superman solo films on the list, the press release from Warner Bros. did mention that they were coming before 2020, so I'm sure they will work on fitting them somewhere in the time frame.
