'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' First Clip and New Images

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a clip and new images in anticipation for the soon arriving The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, our final trip to Middle-earth with Peter Jackson. The new images prepare us for the final battle that will take place during the film, while the clip is just a small peek during the fight where Bilbo (Martin Freeman) is willing take the risk that Thranduil (Lee Pace) will not, even if it goes against the wishes of Gandalf (Ian McKellen). We have gotten a lot of images, a trailer and a clip from The Battle of the Five Armies at this point, and there will probably be more to come in the final promotion push for the film that is just a couple of weeks away.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies also stars Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry, Cate Blanchett, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, and Orlando Bloom, opening in theaters on December 17th. Check out the clip (via YouTube) and images (via Collider) below.
