'Suicide Squad' to Shoot Next Year in Toronto; Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy, and Jai Courtney in Final Talks to Star

Looks like production just shifted a gear up for David Ayer's Suicide Squad, lately we had just heard reports on casting but now word is going around about the film's production beginning. Reports are saying that Suicide Squad will begin production next year at Pinewood Studios in Toronto, Canada.

THR reported that Warner Bros. has booked the studio for David Ayer's Suicide Squad, using the working title Bravo 14. According to the report, the film would begin pre-production in February and would be ready to begin shooting from mid-April to September in and around Toronto. The report also includes that Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy and Jai Courtney are all in final talks for roles in the film, which have been reported to be those of The Joker, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag and Deadshot, respectively. Absent from the report was Will Smith, who was said to also be in talks to play Captain Boomerang.

It's good to know that the film's production is moving along well and that the actors are still in negotiations, getting a date to start shooting is always a good thing. Suicide Squad revolves around a team of supervillains who work for the government, completing suicide missions in order to get reduced sentences. The film is set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
