'Bond 24' Officially Titled 'Spectre'

The name for the new Bond film which had been previously referred to as Bond 24 has been officially revealed, along with the entire main cast for the film. Like previously reported, the announcement of the title and cast came in a live stream from the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios in London. The 24th film in the Bond franchise has been officially titled Spectre, and joining the returning cast are Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott and Christoph Waltz.

The returning cast includes Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. For the new members of the cast, Christoph Waltz will be playing a character named Oberhauser (not Blofeld as rumored), Dave Bautista will be Mr. Hinx, Andrew Scott will be Denbigh, Lea Seydoux will play Madeleine Swann, and finally Monica Bellucci will play Lucia Sciarra. The event also revealed a non-human member of the cast which will be 007's vehicle, the newly designed Aston Martin DB10. The announcement also included the filming locations for Spectre, which other than Pinewood Studios and around London will include Rome, Mexico City, Tangier, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altaussee.

The Bond franchise is one that I really like a lot, so I can't help but be really excited about the announcements made for this next film. Spectre is a really nice sounding title, but the new cast is what stands out, specially Christoph Waltz as the possible main villain and Dave Bautista as the main henchman, I was really hoping those two would be true when they were unconfirmed reports. Of course the choice of Bond Girls was great with the incredibly beautiful Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux, and from what I understand Andrew Scott is a good addition as well. Overall, I am very happy with the announcement and can't wait for the movie. Spectre is set to hit theaters on November 6th, 2015.
