Warner Bros. has released the first pictures for the upcoming disaster film San Andreas. The story follows Dwayne Johnson as a helicopter pilot who must team up with his ex-wife, played by Carla Gugino, in order to save their daughter, played by Alexandra Daddario, following the occurrence of a giant earthquake in Los Angeles.The images come from USA Today, and according to the article, this film will be quite an event. Director Brad Peyton said, "We're going to show what the largest earthquake ever recorded would look like, all in a highly populated area, and this earthquake would have the potential for global impact because the Earth is having an event." Star Dwayne Johnson added, "It all goes down. The damage, destruction, the loss of lives, everything that you know on the West Coast doesn't see tomorrow."
San Andreas hits theaters on May 29th, 2015, the first trailer for the film will drop tomorrow. Check out the images below.
