First Image of Ewan McGregor as Jesus in 'Last Days In the Desert'

Rodrigo Garcia's film Last Days In the Desert will be playing in the Sundance Film Festival next month, and the first image has been revealed from the film featuring Ewan McGregor as Jesus. In this first image we see a worn out McGregor front and center in the desert. Last Days In the Desert tells the story of the forty days of fasting and praying that Jesus spent in the desert, all while struggling with the Devil in this dramatic test.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any of the work of Rodrigo Garcia, so I can't really comment on the director. But the image itself is very descriptive and looks great, it catches my attention. Last Days In the Desert will premiere on January 25th at 6:30pm at the Eccles Theater as part of Sundance 2015. Check out the image below (via Collider).
