Ron Howard's movie adaptation of the Dan Brown novel Inferno is set to begin production in Italy by April next year, so it is only natural that the film should have or should be rounding up the screen talent. We already know that Tom Hanks will reprise his role as Robert Langdon, and it looks like Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) may be the one to join him with reports placing the actress in early talks for a role in the film.
Deadline reported on Jones being in early negotiations to star in the film alongside Hanks. The actress would play the role of Sienna Brooks, a doctor who tries to help Langdon recover his memories and who he teams up with. In this third movie installment we find Robert Langston waking up in a hospital in Italy suffering from amnesia, and going on a race to prevent the spread of a plague that threatens the entire world and is connected to Dante's famous poem.
I have said I am among the possible few that want to see Inferno, and possibly adding the talents of Felicity Jones just adds to my interest in the film. She has been receiving a lot of praise for her role in The Theory of Everything and I am sure this must be just one of the many role being offered to her, so if the negotiations end in her casting that would be great for the film. Inferno is set to hit theaters on October 14th, 2016.
