First 'Pixels' Posters

The first posters have been released for Chris Columbus' upcoming film Pixels, featuring some familiar faces in video games like Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong. The film follows a group of 80s arcade game champions who must use their abilities to save the world from invading aliens who have misinterpreted classic arcade games as a declaration of war.

The posters look great and appealing mostly because of the nostalgic factor of the characters, the plot sounds fun so I am very curious about this film. I have to say I am a little nervous because Adam Sandler is starring and it's been a while since I saw him in something I enjoyed, but I can give him the benefit of the doubt and not completely lose interest in the film because of him. Pixels also stars Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad, Brian Cox and Kevin James, hitting theaters on July 24th, 2015. Check out the posters below (via Collider).
