'Pan' Writer Jason Fuchs in Talks to Pen 'Wonder Woman' Script

Recently it was reported that Michelle MacLaren had been set to direct and help develop the Wonder Woman film, and now Warner Bros. and DC may have found another part of the developing team. It is being reported that Pan screenwriter Jason Fuchs is in talks to write the script for the upcoming DC film Wonder Woman.

THR reported on Fuchs being in negotiations to write the script for Wonder Woman, adding that MacLaren will work closely with the writer to develops the drafts. According to the report, Fuchs is already working on the script for the Pan sequel but you have to assume Wonder Woman would have a higher priority level.

The credits of the writer are very limited and not that convincing for me, specially for the type of movie Wonder Woman will be, but knowing that Jason Fuchs would work closely with Michelle MacLaren is encouraging. A lot is on the line with this film, Wonder Woman will be the first comic book movie with a female lead and she is without a doubt the most iconic female character in comic books and a symbol of female empowerment. I hope things continue to move along well for this film. Wonder Woman will star Gal Gadot and will hit theaters on June 23rd, 2017.
