'The Maze Runner' Sequel Adds Lili Taylor and Barry Pepper

The cast keeps rounding up for the anticipated The Maze Runner sequel, The Scorch Trials, with the film adding two more names to the ensemble. It has been reported that Lili Taylor and Barry Pepper have been added to the cast for the young adult novel film adaptation. The sequel is set to begin filming later this month.

THR reported on the casting of Taylor and Barry, who join new names in the film like Nathalie Emmanuel, Aidan Gillen, Rosa Salazar and Giancarlo Esposito, with Dylan O'Brien and Will Poulter reprising their leading roles. According to the report, Lili Taylor will play Mary Cooper, who is a doctor that started a colony of survivors hoping to make a last stand, and Barry Pepper will play a character named Vince, who is a survivalist and one of the last remaining soldiers of a unit called the Right Arm. The Scorch Trials will be directed by Wes Ball and is set to be released on September 18th, 2015.
