'Star Wars Episode VII' Officially Titled 'The Force Awakens'

Filming recently wrapped up for the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII, and given that fact Lucasfilm has decided to make a special announcement. The studio has just given the announcement via Twitter that principal photography has finished for the film, and also revealed that the official tittle for the next installment will be Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

I am not sure how to feel about this, don't get me wrong, the title is great and it is very exciting to finally know it. I just would think that titling the next Star Wars would be something that deserves more than just a tweet, being how anticipated this film is and that even something as small as a title is a big deal for the biggest fans, but that's just me. In the end, the announcement is great and makes the coming of the film more palpable, and I hope this is the beginning of more reveals to come soon.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, it opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.
