'Now You See Me 2' Will be Titled 'Now You See Me: The Second Act'

Now You See Me 2 is already in pre-production in anticipation for their 2016 release date, and one of the cast member has revealed the title of the upcoming sequel. The follow-up to the 2013 film is set to begin shooting soon and it has been revealed by actor Mark Ruffalo that the film will be titled Now You See Me: The Second Act.

The star of the upcoming film went to his Instagram account (via Collider) and posted a picture from what appears to be a table read from the film holding a tag with his name and that of his character, with the title Now You See Me: The Second Act on top. There isn't a whole lot of information about the plot, but according to the synopsis of the film, the sequel will take place a year after the first film reuniting us with the Four Horsemen who will face a new enemy that will enlist them to attempt their most dangerous heist to date.

There isn't really too much I can say on the title, after all it is just a title. It is clever and goes with the theme of the movie, and tells you it is a sequel without having a "2" on the title. The first film didn't do too much for me, I felt it started fine but then lost me in the second half of the movie, but I am curious as to where this second film will take the story. Directed by Jon M. Chu, Now You See Me: The Second Act will also star Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Michael Caine, Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, and Jay Chou, hitting theaters on June 6th, 2016.
