Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman is currently filming, and the film has recently moved production from Detroit to Chicago. New set photos from the film have surfaced and reveal that we will probably see the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne on the big screen once again in Batman v. Superman.Batman-News.com shared the set photos, along with details about the shoot. According to the report there where old cars spotted on set, hinting that the scene will be a flashback of the murders. The photos show a theater which is playing The Mark of Zorro, the film that Bruce Wayne saw with his parents before they were murdered leaving the theater.
We know that Batman in Batman v. Superman will be a seasoned veteran in what he does, so since we know we aren't getting an origin story, this will definitely be a flashback of the Wayne murders. Even if it's not for an origin story, I am glad that this flashback will appear in the film, the Wayne murders are such an iconic event in the Batman mythology that I think it has to be included in some way in the film. I am really excited about this film and I really can't wait to see a teaser, trailer, poster or some other type of material from the film. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25th, 2016. Check out the set photos below.
