Idris Elba Reveals He and Tom Hiddleston will Appear in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'

We thought we knew all the familiar characters that will be appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but apparently there a couple that will be there and we didn't know about it. For those wondering about Tom Hddleston's Loki and Idris Elba's Heimdall appearing in Age of Ultron, it appears we will get to see those characters in the upcoming Marvel film, according to Idris Elba.

While on an interview with the Telegraph (via Variety), Elba revealed that he recorded a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston for the film:
"I'm in 'Avengers', and I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki]..."
While most likely Loki and Heimdall won't have a big part in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it's still great to know that we might see two characters that we like in the film, even if it's for a small scene. There hasn't been any reference to the characters for the film and they didn't show up in the trailer, so for all we know the scene was shot but didn't make the final cut. But if it ends up happening, it will be great to see Loki and Heimdall in Age of Ultron. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and James Spader, and opens in theaters on May 1st, 2015.
