First Look at Vin Diesel as 'The Last Witch Hunter'

The Last Witch Hunter just started production and Vin Diesel gave us a first look of his role via Facebook. The film is being directed by Breck Eisner with a script by Cory Goodman and also stars Rose Leslie, Elijah Wood and Michael Caine. The Last Witch Hunter follows an immortal witch hunter from the 13th century who has to team up with a witch to stop evil covens of modern day NYC who are planning to unleash a deadly plague on humanity.

After first hearing about this project a while back I didn't think much of if, the plot isn't particularly attractive and even this first image doesn't do much for me. Not to say that the film will not be good because it could play out to be very entertaining, it just hasn't shown me anything that catches my attention so far. As always any judgment has to be saved until the actual movie, a trailer or more material comes out and on that subject the movie is expected to come out sometime in 2015.
