USA Today talked to Neeson about the upcoming film and also shared images giving us a first look at it. When talking about the plot the actor said, "I have to go on the run, I'll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities, Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me."
The main plot doesn't look like it will follow the titles and story from the other films, it appears no one is getting taken in this next film, which might not make sense for some people but to me, other than not match with the title, it is the way to go. The second film left me tired with the same thing happening again and people being kidnapped but just in different countries, they have to change the story line for people to remain interested, at least in my opinion, and Liam Neeson appears to agree with that in a way, "This time, no more traveling. If my daughter was 'taken' again on a trip, Bryan Mills would have to be certifiably locked up for bad parenting."
Of course if the films keep making enough money the studio will want to make more, but you can only stretch this franchise so long until either a films does badly or you run out of material to work with. But we can worry about that later, for know we can expect Tak3n in theaters on January 9th, 2015.
