While on an interview with the Huffington Post, James McAvoy who plays Professor Charles Xavier made some comments about the upcoming film. Talking about what could be expected from his character and the film the actor said, "I have no idea what’s going on. I think I’m losing my hair finally. And in the movie. And, yeah, that’s kind of all I know. I got an email from the Simon Kinberg, our producer/writer extraordinare, who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn’t want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don’t know. But It seems fairly global, if we’re talking apocalypse, maybe it’s just the character’s name but I think the nature of the movie will be fairly apocalyptic."
These comments are very teasing, and off course what stands out is that we might get to finally see McAvoy's Professor X being bald, which is a good way to go if you want to have the character make that transition that would make him feel wiser and older (not implying that age would be the reason for the hair loss), given that around ten years would have passed in the movie timeline. Maybe McAvoy actually doesn't know too much at the moment or maybe he is just obligated not to reveal any details, but saying that writer/producer Simon Kinberg didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks can either mean that something is getting revealed to the public in those couple of weeks or it is just being revealed to the people involved because they really don't know anything yet, let's hope that we are the ones getting a little insight on X-Men: Apocalypse.
