Behind the scenes images have been revealed (via Collider) for the upcoming horror film Insidious: Chapter 3. This third installment will be a prequel and will take place before the occurrences of the previous two films, following psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) as she contacts the dead in order to help a teenager (Stefanie Scott) being targeted by an evil and dangerous supernatural entity.
Marking the directorial debut of Leigh Whannell, who co-created the franchise, Insidious: Chapter 3 stars Lin Shaye, Stefanie Scott, Dermot Mulroney, Hayley Kiyoko, Leigh Whannell, Michael Reid MacKay, Angus Sampson, and Ele Keats, the film hits theaters on May 29th, 2015.
